Shu Ouma is a high school student who is able to acquire the ability to “Power of the King”, which allows him to take items called “Voids” that are possessed by other. Shu Ouma:

Shu Ouma is the 17-year-old protagonist of Guilty Crown.Shu’s outfit is similar to an average high school student’s clothing, except this is an all-black uniform.

Shu is a socially uninformed person, is a second-year high school student. Shu is also a part of the modern imagery club of the school as well as a member of the video research team. Shu’s participation in the series begins when he first meets Inori Yuzuriha.However when he arrives it is discovered that a fight between GHQ and the Funeral Parlor has begun, leading Shu to escape while protecting the Void Genome. When he rescues Inori from the clutches of a GHQ Endlave, the “Void Genome” which is affixed to his right arm, grants him the “Power of the King” that allows him to remove items from the heart of the person. Gai suggests to Shu that he join Funeral Parlor. Shu declines the suggestion. Shu is willing to accept the offer from Yahiro Samukawa, his classmate.

The story’s conclusion, after defeating Gai, Shu tries to capture all the Apocalypse Virus into himself however, Inori decides to go through it by sacrificing herself.

Inori Yuzuriha:

Inori Yuzuriha is Guilty crown’s main heroine. Inori Yuzuriha is also the voice of Egoist at the age of 17. She has a beautiful dress that perfectly showcases her figure.

She is also a member of the “Funeral Parlor” resistance group, and her Void is an axe. She becomes Shu’s partner , and as the story progresses begins to display different types of emotions. She then falls in love with Shu. She is later revealed to be created by Da’ath in order to become the vessel of Mana who was captured in order to complete Mana’s rebirth, but was then saved by Shu. Then, she exhibits more unpredictable behavior. This culminates in her stabbing Arisa through Arisa’s hand and killing two students. She is later captured by the newly resurrected Gai and Da’ath, as she tries to shield Shu.

Inori’s Void (a strong sword that looks like Bisento) can be combined with other Voids to create different effects. Yu can use it to make it more wing-like. She also has the capability to transform into the “monster” mode in which a pair of blades extend out of her arms, and she gains strength and speed.

In the finale, in the final episode, Shu attempts to absorb all of the Apocalypse Viral into him, Inori takes it instead by sacrificing herself so that Shu will live, even so her soul remains within Shu as observed when both are reunited at the end the episode.

Gai Tsutsugami

Gai Tsutsugami is a 23-year-old resourceful and charismatic leader of the “Funeral Parlor” resistance group. Gai’s attire perfectly mirrors the temperament of the leader.

Shu’s “Power of the King” will aid him in pushing the revolution towards victory. He is charming and manipulative, but also an exemplary leader at Funeral Parlor. He expects only the best from his employees. Inori is assigned the responsibility of taking the Void Genome to enable him to harness its power from the beginning. Shu is granted the power of the Anti-Bodies after a struggle with Funeral Parlor. He tries, however, to persuade Shu join his organisation, and succeeds by leveraging his feelings for Inori, and after he was detained by the GHQ.
